My Coastal “Snowy Beach” Christmas Tree

I have always wanted to decorate a Coastal Christmas tree and this is the year that I have actually went through with it. In the past, I’ve had the idea to decorate my tree in a coastal theme but once I get out my bin of Christmas tree ornaments, I always go back to our traditional red and green decorations.

I’m so happy with how my tree turned out. I named it, “My Snowy Beach Christmas Tree” because there is a mix of seashells and snowflakes on the tree. Do you ever name your Christmas Trees?

I first added the silver tinsel garland and loved the sparkle it added. Next I started adding seashells, starfish, and my all white ornaments including snowflakes. And lastly I wrapped rope around the tree. I think the rope adds a fun nautical touch.

I placed the tree in an old Bee-Box that I pained white. I’ve used this box for a couple of Christmases now. And then I wrapped a white blanket with a blue stripe around the bottom to act as a tree skirt.

I love how the tree looks next to my seashell mirror. It goes so perfectly with the Seashells on my tree.

Next to the tree I have an old music stand, with my favorite Christmas book opened up on it. Have you checked out THIS BOOK yet? I love it! It has brought me a TON of inspiration this season. If you want to learn more, I blogged about this Book HERE,

I picked up the metal music stand at a yard sale years ago. I love to use it as a book stand…… I also use it all the time to hold my phone to take videos. It works great as a tripod since I can adjust the heights on it. Who knew a music stand could have so many purposes?

Did you notice the brackets that my Hanging Rope Lights are hanging from? Well my neighbors gave those to me. Those brackets along with an old rusty metal plaque came from the boiler in the basement of their historic home and they said I could have them. So cool, Right? So after a bit of thinking, I decided that the brackets would be amazing hanging on the wall to hold up my rope lights. I just love cool old stuff like this.

Next to the tree I brought in an old window frame and some old metal buckets…. There’s kinda a theme going on here; Old, Metal, and Rustic.
