Stairway Photo Gallery

Yes, I have yet another photo gallery to share with you. I’m currently loving having my walls covered in pictures and I have recently added pictures to our stairway.

These walls were just empty before, so the pictures have made a dramatic change. The walls in this stairway go up super high and it’s also fun to see some exposed brick up at the top there.

I’ve just pulled out some of my favorite pictures (mostly of my boys) and put the pictures in a mix match of frames that I’ve collected over the years. I like that I can easily add to this gallery wall as I come across other picturs that I love.

I also added this little white bench to the stair landing. This bench use to sit in our entryway, but I love how perfectly it fits in this spot here.

Our stairway is located just around the corner from our Vacation Wall Hallway.

I’m sure you’re aware of our vacation hallway because I’ve blogged about it many times before, but if you are new here, we collage frame all of our big family vacations. This hallway is so much fun. I stenciled on the pineapples and you can see more about it HERE.

Ha Ha, This next picture cracks me up so I had to add it. That’s just my dog stormy trying to figure out what I’m up to.

This hallway is located just off of the living room where Yes, I have another picture wall.

I just blogged about this new gallery wall in our living room in my last post, seen HERE.

I say if you have lots of pictures that you love, then get them up on the wall where you can see them often.

So I should also mention that the stairway leads up to our master bedroom. I’ve also recently blogged about the wood ceiling that we added up here. Did you catch that post? If not, you can catch up HERE.

In that blog post I mainly just focused on the ceiling and this half of the room, so now here today, you can see the other side of the room which has the stairway.

My dresser is tucked away in the far end of the room. I’ve got my cow skull hanging up here as well as these fun zodiac prints that I blogged about HERE.

And then I’ll just leave this blog post with an image looking down the stairs at the new photo gallery. Oh and in case you were wondering, that tall stick is an old land survey measurement thingy that I picked up ages ago at a thrift store. When my boys were little I would mark their heights on it.

So what do you think? Do you have lots of pictures hanging up in your home? If not, I hope that I have inspired you to hang some up. You’ll be happy you did.

I love your vintage home. Vintage homes always have the unexpected….around the corner!!! That wall up the stairs IS VERY tall. I agree with you, we should enjoy the pictures we love. That bench fits so perfectly, like it was made for this home. I would love to be sleeping in that master bedroom during a really roaring rain storm under the sky light!!!
I lived for 15 years in a Craftsman built in 1905 home….I LOVED it!!! We were only the third owners so it was VERY original. It was a beauty. I miss it…but life goes on.
