Baked Brie with Cranberry Sauce

I don’t always love to cook, but I do love to make Appetizers. Appetizers are my favorite food to make and also to eat. For Thanksgiving I signed up to bring the Appetizer and this is what I came up with; Baked Brie Cheese with Cranberry sauce, pecan, and rosemary topping. It was Delish!

This Appetizer turned out so yummy that I wanted to share the recipe with you. I will most likely be making this again for Christmas and perhaps again for New Years and so I thought I’d better blog the recipe, not only for you, but also for me. Just so I’ll have it handy for next time.😉

Ingredients:

  • 1 (8-ounce) Wheel of Brie Cheese
  • Cranberry Sauce with Whole Berries (from a can)
  • Honey Roasted Pecan Pieces
  • Fresh Rosemary
  • Strong Crackers and/or Baguette Slices (We prefer Triscuit Brand Crackers)

Directions:

  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees
  • Place brie on a parchment lined baking sheet
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the brie is softened and getting jiggly
  • Remove from oven and let cool for 10 minutes
  • Transfer Brie to serving dish
  • Top with cranberry sauce, pecans, and fresh cut Rosemary

This recipe could not be any simpler but it looks elegant and will be sure to be a crowd pleaser.

For Christmas time, I will most likely be adding some fresh pomegranate seeds to the topping as well because I Love Pomegranate!
