I love rearranging our home decor and creating different little vignettes. Here is something I put together last weekend. I love how this display added such a beautiful tropical look to our home, just the thing I needed now that we are in the middle of winter. If you get the winter blues too, try decorating your home with tropical accents, I find that it really does help.
This old antique shelf is fun to display my collection of seashells on and then I also mixed in a framed palm tree print, some rolled up rope, dried sun palms, and a faux orchid stem that I placed into a real plant. I’m not very good at keeping orchids alive, so this is my secret, place a flower stem into a real plant and then you have a 1/2 real 1/2 fake plant. Just don’t forget to water it. 😉
