Spring Flower Mantel

Happy St. Patrick’s Day!!!!

I wish I had a fun St. Patrick’s day craft or decorating project to share with you today, but I don’t.

which is kinda funny since I do have some Irish in me.

I did decorate our kitchen table with a box of Lucky Charms and green bowls and spoons for my boy’s this morning.

They thought it was Awesome!

But that’s it.

So Instead I wanted to share my Spring Flower Mantel with you all.

I thought for spring it would be fun to add a bunch of flowers to my mantel.

I love flowers, and nothing says Spring more than Flowers, am I right?

The yellow daisy’s and the pink carnations are left over from my Birthday that was a few weeks ago. My boy’s happily surprised me with them.

And then I picked up the mini daffodils at the grocery store.

The two branches on the ends are actually fake blossoms,  but I did add in some real branches, that I’m hoping will bloom on their own soon.

Then using a piece of twine and some clothes pins, I hung up a few flower seed packets. I thought it added a cute little touch.

I brought in a big wicker trunk and a crate full of gardening books and placed it in front of my fireplace, I figure we are probably done using the fireplace for a while, however it sure was nice to use during the winter months.

Thanks for stopping by!

Hope you all have a Lucky Day!!

Emily

Your mantel looks so fresh and pretty, Emily! The Lucky Charms had me smiling; I wish I'd thought to do that for my kids! So simple, but thoughtful.
