Book Suggestions

There’s something about Autumn🍂 where more than ever I just want to snuggle up in a cozy blanket, a warm cup of coffee, and a good book in my hand. 📖 The last book that I picked up from our little local library wasn’t very intriguing and I just couldn’t get though it, and honestly the book I tried to read before that wasn’t either.

And so being that I really want to enjoy a good read on a fall day, I posted a quick request for book suggestions on social media and I received back a wonderful response of book tittles. (Thank you to everyone who shared). And so today I thought I’d share with you the book suggestions that I received; not only to offer these suggestions to you as well, but also so that I can remember them for later. At the end of this post, please leave a comment and let me know if you have read any of these book and/or if you have any other suggestions that you would like to add.

This first book was recommended by several different people, so it’ll be the first book I read. It’s also a movie, and apparently the book and the movie are both wonderful.

The Island of Missing Trees by Elif Shafak
I was told that the narration on the audiobook for this book was amazing.

Okay, I’m off to the library. I always hit up our local library first, and then Amazon second. What about you, are you a borrow or buy the book kind of person? Or perhaps an audio listener? No wrong answer, I just have a thing for libraries and paperbacks myself. 😉

I hope that you have enjoyed my blog post today. Please let me know your thoughts in a comment below or come find me on Facebook and/or Instagram.
