Our Christmas Living Room 2020 – Phase 1.

I am having so much fun decorating our home for Christmas this year. Everyday I just keep adding more and more festive touches around our home…Which is the reason why I’m calling this blog post, Phase 1. You see, since taking these pictures, I have changed up a lot of the decor from what you see here today. But with that said, I still wanted to share these pictures with you because who knows, maybe you prefer this more neutral look over what I will be sharing with you next time. You’ll have to stay tuned to let me know.

First, I just want to say Thank You for all of your nice comments about our fireplace makeover. Just in case you missed it, in my Last Post I shared How I added a Faux Peel and Stick Brick Wallpaper to our Fireplace. I’m still loving this new look.

Since the new brick on the fireplace really adds a Warm feeling to the room, I wanted to continue with that feeling and stick with a warm, neutral theme for my Christmas decorating this year.

The Very first Christmas Decoration that I added was our Nativity. To be honest, in the last few years I never even got the Nativity out of its box. So this year, I wanted to make sure it was the First thing I set out. I even gave our nativity it’s own proper setting, I placed it on a long shelf, with sting lights, a mirror background and my lighted Noel sign above.

From there, I decorated our Christmas tree with white and silver ornaments with lots of pinecones mixed in. We just got this Pre-Lit Frosted tree last year, and I’m still super in love with it. It’s the prettiest tree we have ever owned. Find our Christmas Tree HERE

Here are the silver Faux Mercury Glass ornaments that I just made. See the Full Tutorial about how I made them HERE. I think that the new – old ornaments look beautiful on our flocked tree.

There are also a few cute little gnomes on our tree this year. Have you noticed a trend in Christmas gnomes this year? They seem to be everywhere! Works for me, I think they are fun!

So for this warm neutral look I just placed a wicker deer head on our mantel. But that’s one of the things that I have since changed. I love the look of the deer head from the side, but the front view looked strange to me and so I now have something new in its place.

And here is one last look at Our Christmas Living Room – Phase 1.

I’ll be back soon to share a Phase 2.

Hint: I added Red ❤️

Thanks for stopping by Today.
