2023 Christmas House Tour

Welcome! Hi There, Merry Christmas! I’m so Happy you are here. I truly mean that from the bottom of my heart. ❤️ I share a lot on Instagram, but this is the place where I really feel like I can show you more and give you a closer look inside our home. So again, thank you for stopping by. Today, I want to share with you our 2023 Christmas House Tour.

There’s going to be a lot of pictures in this post, so I’ll keep the wording pretty minimal and leave the pictures to do all of the talking. But with that said, if you do have questions about anything, don’t be afraid to ask, I’m always happy to help.

Some of these pictures may be repeats, since I have already shared our “Snowy Beach” Christmas Tree, HERE. and our Cute Christmas Dining Room HERE. Some of these pictures were also shared on Instagram. But I tried to bring all of my favorite pictures together in one place, along with a bunch I haven’t shared yet.

My snowy beach Christmas tree just might be my favorite thing about this year’s decorating. I had always wanted to create a Coastal Christmas tree and I think that it turned out really cute with the mix of seashells and snowflakes.

Since I shared the tree last, I keep adding more to it….. well not to the tree itself, but to the area around the tree, like this large basket full of blue quilts and a sequin star pillow. Quilts add some a coziness and so I thought they were a great touch.

I added the red slipcover back onto our couch because it just felt right for Christmas. I decorate with a lot of red during Christmas, but I would actually love to do an all-white or very neutral look one year too.

There are also some touches of blue in my decorating this year as well.

Another thing I liked about this year’s decorating is that we added a couch to our dining room. I mean we kinda had no where else to put it, but it’s been really fun to have extra seating in an area we don’t normally hang out in. I’m actually sitting on this couch right now as I type up this blog post. It’s a cozy little spot.

Our mantel is super simple with just some of our nutcrackers. Also that cute little Santa sled and reindeer in the center is actually a Lego set that we picked up as a family this year. We are a Lego and Nutcracker family here.

Our famiy’s favorite Christmas decorations are our Nutcracker collection and our hand made stockings.

Arn’t these stockings awesome? My mother-in-law knits them and we just love them. There’s even one for the dog. I thought they looked cute hanging up in our entry way with some Christmas Picks tucked in behind the coat rack.

Here are the majority of our nutcrackers, but the rest are on the mantel and scattered about. I think I counted 40. I talk about these nutcrackers every year but as a refresher, my husband collected nutcrackers with his mom growing up. Every Christmas they would buy a new nutcracker and we have kept up with that tradition. And so some of these nutcrackers are old and some are new. My mother-in-law has quite a collection of nutcrackers as well.

These are the two nutcrackers we picked out as a family this year. Both are from World Market. The one on the left is a Ukrainian Santa Claus and then I just loved the one on the right with the clock. We actually have pretty good luck finding fun and unique nutcrackers at World Market.

So like I said, I have shared our Cute dining room already, so if you would like to see even more of this space, Check out THIS POST.

Although since that post, I added the nutcracker ornaments to the chandelier. I really love how this chandelier turned out this year. I just clipped branches off of a tree in our backyard and simply draped them over this chandelier. Real Greenery is just the prettiest Christmas decor you could have.

I thought our dining room turned out Cute, and it fact that is the only word I can come up with to describe this room, Cute, Cute, Cute!

I also did just a little bit of decorating in our kitchen. I hung up a wreath, that lights up in our kitchen window. I found the old rusty tin in our garage and found the perfect place for it in this window. It fits perfectly!

And then I just created a little coffee/hot cocoa station in the corner on our countertops.

Some pretty fake hydrangeas and red berries in a white pitcher add a festive touch next to the sink.

I think the most creative thing about this space is that I tied a plaid apron around the bottom drawer of this stove mount to create a little skirt. Yes, that’s just an apron.

Above the stove I added a metal deer head, wood frame and a red berry wreath.

I actually wish I took more pictures of our green kitchen decorated for Christmas because come January I plan to paint it again and give it a whole new look, but the green is just so perfect for Christmas time. Perhaps I can find time to grab a few more pictures. We’ll see.

I said I wasn’t going to do much talking, but yet here I am typing away. lol. I’ll leave here today with a few last pictures. Again, one of our tree because it’s my favorite thing this year.

Some more branches cut from the tree in our backyard made for a pretty swag; a great alternative to a wreath on our front door.

And finally, a pictures of our sweet house decorated with lights for Christmas just dreaming of being covered in some pretty white snow…… I really want snow for Christmas!

Can you believe our house will be 100 years old in 2024! I think I need to do something really special to celebrate it, don’t you?
