My New CW Stockwell Martinique Pillow from Danielle Rollins

PINCH ME! I cannot believe THIS PILLOW is in my Living Room right now. This Pillow is a Martinique (The Original banana Print) Pillow by CW Stockwell. Follow along as I tell you more about this pillow and how it ended up on my living room sofa.

Not long ago Danielle D. Rollins was having a Giveaway for this pillow on her Instagram page to celebrate her new showroom opening. I love following Danielle Rollins, she is such an inspiring clothing and interior designer and her designs always grab my attention. She has such a fun, colorful, palm beach style that I can’t get enough of.

Danielle Rollins is also an author of the bestseller Soirée Entertaining with Style, and A Home for All Seasons.

So I saw the pillow on Danielle’s Instagram page and I knew right away that I wanted to enter this giveaway. This pillow caught my eye and it looked like it would go perfect in our home…… Well, as you can see, I won that giveaway!!!

When the pillow arrived, it was even better in person than I had imagined. I knew that this pillow was a CW Stockwell Martinique Encore Denim Pillow, but I didn’t exactly know what that meant. So I did a little research and this is what I found out…

CW Stockwell designed the Martinique which is the Original Banana Leaf print and has been in production for over 75 years, printed in small batches by hand in Los Angeles, California. You will find the Martinique print on the wallpaper in the iconic Beverly Hills Hotel. Many celebrities have had their picture taken with that wallpaper behind them.

So basically SW Stockwell designed the first banana leaf print back in the 1940’s and it has been an inspiration for so many ever since. You will see CW Stockwell fabric or wallpaper in almost every project that Danielle Rollins has done, It always makes a statement.

Learn more about the story behind the Martinique HERE.

The pillow I have is the Martinique Encor Denim Pillow. The Encor is a modern take on the timeless classic. All of the pillows in the Denim collection are made to order in L.A. The fabrics are printed in small batches by hand. This pillow combines two loves of mine, Denim and tropical. ✔️

Pretty Awesome eh? I loved this pillow when I first saw it, but to learn the history behind the Martinique print really makes it special. Now you see why I’m in awe that this pillow is in my home. 💙 I feel pretty lucky!

I placed the pillow on our couch and as you can see, it fits right in perfectly in our home. I love it paired with our curtains too, since they both have a tropical look to them.

Ha! I had to post this last pictures of our dog, Stormy, she loves to be in my pictures.
