This Lighthouse Photo Gallery has been years in the making. Literally! I have photographed lighthouses for years now and I have always wanted to frame my favorite images and hang them up in our home. And Now I am so happy to have finally gotten around to it.
There are 11 Lighthouses on the Oregon Coast and I have visited 8 of them. A couple of those 8 I have been to several times over the years. It’s on my bucket list to visit those last 3 lighthouses one day. #lifegoals 😊
I ordered my prints through Costco, and if you have a Costco membership then I highly recommend them for photo prints. I did a little shopping around and Costco had the best prices. They were not same day, but they did offer free shipping, and they arrived in exactly 1 week.
As soon as my prints arrived, I got to work framing them. Before ordering my prints, I picked out my frames and decided on which pictures to put in which frames and what size to order each of them. I actually put little sticky notes on the frames so I would remember which pictures needed to go in which frames.
I just leaned the frames against the wall on this shelf in our living room. I made this shelf a few years ago and blogged about it and the rustic steel brackets HERE.
And in my last blog post, I shared more about that wood bakers rack shelf that I just moved into this corner of our living room. See that Post HERE.
I have also recently blogged about moving these white bookshelves into our dining room. See that post HERE.
Our home is feeling so new and fresh with all of the recent changes that I have made to it. Just wait until you see what I have come up with in our Sunroom! …..that blog post will be coming soon, so stick around!
Lately I’ve been really focusing on decorating our home with pictures and decor that we absolutely love, and I’m finding myself getting rid of a bunch of decor that just doesn’t really mean much to us. It feels great!
I’m also noticing how much I truly am drawn to anything Coastal or Nautical. The Oregon Coast is a special place for me and my family. We visit there almost every year and have such fond memories of that place..
These lighthouse images make me happy and I love how they fit into our living room so nicely. Not really planned, but the colors of the lighthouses tie in the rest of the Red, White and Blue color scheme of the room.
So what do you think of the lighthouse pictures displayed in our living room? Have any questions? Let me know in a comment below or come chat with me on Facebook or Instagram.
