Bohemian vibes on my Patio

There are only two more weeks of school left for my boys.

I can hardly believe it!

This year has gone by so fast.

 I am looking forward to having them home all day….

However, with them being home all day, I’ve decided that it might not be a bad idea to create a special getaway spot just for me.

So that is what I have done on our back patio.

I first brought out my wicker love seat from storage. I covered the cushion with a retro floral print fabric.

I also brought out a bunch of throw pillows to help make the space more comfortable.

And then I’ve layered the wicker bench with a variety of plants, rocks and candles.

My mother-in-law gave me these terracotta citronella candles for Mother’s day. I love the little jute rope around them. It will be nice to have them lit to keep the mosquitoes away.

I’m fond of the whole bohemian vibe that this space now has. It’s all very laid-back and comfortable. 

 I can come outside, get some fresh air and just relax.

I’m sure this is where you will find me the most this summer…and not just to hideout, but probably out here with my boys as well;  Drinking lemonade, laughing, watching them play in the yard… Oh, I just got super excited for summer.

And summer nights too.
