My little Jax was begging to make Chocolate Chip Cookies the other day.
And so together we made these ones.
They turned out so delicious, that we just had to share the recipe.
Now, I prefer whole wheat flour because I think it taste better,
but obviously these cookies could also be made with regular white flour.
Whole Wheat Chocolate Chip Cookies
– 2 1/4 cups of whole wheat flour
– 1 tsp baking soda
– 2 sticks butter, softened
– 3/4 cup sugar
– 3/4 cup brown sugar
– 2 tsp vanilla
– 2 eggs
– 2 cups chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 375. Stir together flour, baking soda and salt; set aside.
Beat butter and sugars until creamy. Add vanilla and eggs; mix well.
Gradually blend dry mixture into creamed mixture. Stir in chocolate chips.
Drop by large tablespoon onto greased cookie sheets.
Bake for 11 minutes or until golden brown.
Makes approximately 2 1/2 dozen.
Enjoy!
Yum! Can't wait to try this!
Hm, is it an option to replace the chocolate chips with a white chocolate?
