We’ve recently bought us an air fryer and we love it so much that I thought I’d share a review here on the blog in case anyone is thinking about getting an air fryer. We gifted my Mother in law an air fryer for Christmas a couple of years ago and then we borrowed it from her to see if it was something that we would like to get for ourselves. 😉 THIS is the air fryer that we gave her and after trying it out for ourselves we realized that we really liked it, but that it was a little on the small side to work for us. It is the perfect size for my mother in law, but to feed our family of four we really needed it to be bigger.
So after doing a little shopping around we found THIS BLACK AND DECKER AIR FRYER it also doubles as a toaster oven. We use this air fryer Every Single Day. Now this air fryer is on the large size, so I would only recommend this air fryer to you if you plan to use it often since it will need to sit out on your counter tops.
This air fryer crisps up our food nicely and helps us to eat healthier.
What we mostly use this air fryer for is to make homemade chips from corn tortillas, homemade french fries, crispy tacos, chicken wings, and crispy vegetables. Now I should mention that I do wish that it crisped up our vegetables a little extra, but they still always turn out great! I’m still learning what else I can put in this air fryer and it’s always fun to try new things. That’s why I was excited to learn about this new cookbook 101 Things to do with an Air Fryer. This cookbook has it all; Recipes for Breakfast, Lunch, Appetizers, Snacks, Sides, Main Dishes, and even Sweet Treats. I would never have guessed that you could cook pastries or cookies in an air fryer, but you definitely can!
A reader recently told me that she gifted her daughter an air fryer and her daughter now calls it her “Adult Easy Bake Oven” 😂 Ha! That made me laugh so hard because it’s true. Air fryers are fun to use and also to try out new recipes in.
