My Birthday was at the beginning of the month, and I made things real easy for Jake and picked out my own birthday gift. 😊 Actually, he always does awesome at buying me things I like, but I just really really wanted this bedding from Tommy Bahama and figured it would be perfect for my birthday gift.

Did you know that Tommy Bahama has a store on Amazon? I was happily surprised when I figured that out because the prices on Amazon are less than on their website. They don’t carry everything that’s on their website, but they still cary a lot of great thing. I’ll link some other things that I like at the end of this post.
They have sheets, quilts, and comforter sets too, but I knew that I wanted a new duvet cover for our bed. I was choosing from a couple of different ones, but then chose this Tropical Coast Duvet Cover in the end. One of the reasons why I picked this one is because I could tell that it would go nicely with the wave wallpaper in our room as well as with the wood ceilings.
I recently shared how I made the “canopy” for my bed using white sheets cut in half and a staple gun. You can learn more about how to make a Bed Canopy HERE. I think the canopy added a fun tropical -vacation – kind of vibe.
I went back and fourth trying to decide if I should get this Tommy Bahama Relax Pillow too. I really didn’t NEED another throw pillow, but It did look super cute with the bedding in the pictures and so I made up my mind and added it to my order. I’m so happy that I did.
It’s a cute pillow and I love the marlin on it. It has a zipper and a cotton pillow insert. I will most likely be switching out the cotton insert for a down one soon but I just haven’t gotten around to it just yet. I prefer down inserts over cotton because they just make a pillow look so much better in my option.
I got a Queen Size Duvet Cover for our Queen Size Bed but my Duvet insert itself is a King size. Putting a king down duvet into a queen cover makes it look extra full. My down duvet insert was from QVC years ago and it’s a big fluffy one. Fluffy Duvets and Pillow inserts make all the difference.
I am super happy with this purchase and now have my eye on more Tommy Bahama items on Amazon Like These:
