I got some new lights in our bedroom that I am completely in love with and I had to share them with you because I think you will love them too. They are simple and affordable. These lights are linen shades that hang by rope and I think that they are so perfect for our beach barn style bedroom.
I especially love the long rope cords because they look so nautical-coastal to me.
I got the lights from the company, Edishine, who sells lights on Amazon. You can find these lights HERE. These lights come in a set of two so they are especially perfect to hang around a bed, a sofa, a dining buffet, or an entry console.
The lights are packaged nicely as a kit which includes the wire frames, rolled up shades, rope cords, instructions, and all of the hardware needed to hang them.
I saw some complaints in the reviews, but I liked the idea of assembling the shades myself. I think they do this to protect the shades from getting damaged when shipping. I personally found it quite simple and fun to put them together.
I just clipped the wire frames into the shade and then theres a velcro strip on the end to hold it all together. Isn’t this linen fabric pretty? I really think so. I love the texture of it.
The lights plug in so theres no need for wiring. I like that the rope is 15 feet long because it allowed me to play around with it a bit to give it that loopy nautical look.
On the rope is a switch box where you can easily turn the lights off and on.
Every time I share our bedroom, I always have to mention the ceiling just in case you are new around here. Jake and I added the wood to our ceiling last year. It’s a fun room, we like to call it the Beach Barn Bedroom. It just has such a vibe to it, and it’s so cool to lay in bed and just look up at the wood ceiling.
