So awhile back I shared my jewelry box makeover over at Meridian Road.

Anyway, I thought I’d also share it on my own blog, for any of you who may have missed it.
I found this old jewelry box in a “free” junk pile that I came across while driving down the road one day.
I painted the box with a coat of white chalk paint, and then stenciled on a red cross.
Then I gave it a good sanding to give it some character.
I love that it resembles an old medicine cabinet.
I have placed my jewelry box on a nightstand in my bedroom.
I love it.
And because I’m just so into this whole Swiss cross look right now, I thought I’d share a few inspirational pictures that I’ve come across on Pinterest.
Like I said, I love this look. I have also added a cross to another place in my home.
