“The important thing is not to stop questioning; curiosity has its own reason for existing”
Albert Einstein
I absolutely adore curiosity cabinets, displays, and vignettes and have always wanted to create one of my own. Today, I finally put one together. Take a look at my shelf of curiosities.

This old wood antique baker’s rack is sitting in a corner of our living room and I decided that it would be the perfect spot to create a curiosity display, so I gathered up all of our unique items from around our home and arranged it all just so.

My husband and I have some really cool and unique things, and so it was just a matter of bringing them all together.

Mostly, you will find all of my starfish and seashells. I love seashells! I have never once been to a beach and not put at least one shell in my pocket. These shells have come from so many different beaches around the world.

And Yes, we just so happen to have an alligator skull and a shark Jaw skull laying around, Pretty cool, right? My husband has own these for years.

I love to put shells in glass bottles, I think it’s such a pretty way to keep them.

Some of these images don’t have the framed butterfly in them because I only remembered that I had it when I was in the middle of taking pictures, but this butterfly definitely belongs on my curiosity display.

I just have a couple of wicker picnic baskets on the bottom shelf to fill in space, and then in the corner there is a large elk antler.

And lastly, I just want to leave you with another picture of my New Gel Stained floors that I am so so happy with. If you missed my last blog post, you can learn How I gel stained our wood floors HERE.

So what do you think about my Curiosity Shelf….I’ll be Curious to know. 😉
