I didn’t realize this until recently, but I have used belts quite a bit around our home. So today, I thought it would be fun to round up all of the different and creatives way that I have used belts as home decor around our home. Hopefully you will leave here today feeling inspired to try some of these ideas out for your self.

It’s quite funny because I don’t really ever wear belts, but yet I have a ton of them on hand, and cute ones too! Perhaps why I have held onto them for so long. So when I was looking at this big white pot thinking that it needed something the idea of a belt jumped into my mind. I quickly added a seashell belt to the pot and it turned out to be just the thing it was needing.

Which then prompt me to get out more of my belts and I started to try them out on other items around our home too. I wrapped one around this linen shade in our living room…… which I’ll share more about another day because I have since come up with an even better idea than this belt but I did like the belt here.

I also wrapped a belt around the base of this lamp. This belt is a soft rope with leather straps and a gold clasp so when I added the belt to the lame base it automatically gave me Ralph Lauren Equestrian vibes.

And then I love this wide vintage hemp belt and thought it could dress up an old metal flower bucket and make it look cute. It added a fun touch.

When I went to share those ideas on Instagram, it made me stop to think about all of the other times I have used belts in my decorating. So I did a search here on the blog for “Belt” and I was surprised by all of these other projects I once shared. I will add a link under the pictures if you would like to see more.
