The Wicker House Collections No. 1 – Blue & White Stripes
So I was at the thrift store recently when I spotted this cute little blue and white striped notebook from across the aisle and I reached for it without any hesitation. That’s when it hit me…… I don’t just like blue and whtie stripes, I seem to collect them wherever they appear.
Apparently I can’t walk past a striped pillow, curtain, shirt, tote bag, shower curtain, or even a dish without bringing it home.
Once I started looking back through photos of our house over the years, I realized blue and white stripes have quietly woven themselves into almost every room.
So I thought it would be fun to gather some of my favorite examples all in one place.
Maybe you’ll discover that you have a decorating “signature” too.

Blue and White stripes feel very beachy/nautical to me. So you will see how I have paired blue and white stripes with coastal decor around our home.

Looking through these photos made me realize something, Our homes often tell us who we are long before we notice it ourselves.
I didn’t intentionally decide that blue and white stripes would become part of my style. I just kept choosing them, again and again because they make me feel relaxed, comfortable, and at home.
Maybe that’s why decorating is so personal. Sometimes your signature style isn’t something you create… It’s something you slowly discover.
