Our entryway is one of my favorite spaces to decorate in our home. I’m not sure why, it’s not even an actual entryway, it’s just a small wall next to the front door. But for some reason I really enjoy decorating this space and I tend to change it up often.
Here is my latest Entryway look:
The coat rack is one of my favorite makeover pieces ever. I painted it in the same color as the walls, and added number tags from Micheals to it. Learn more Here
Usually you will find hats and bags hanging from the hooks, but I thought it would be a nice change to add a few hanging plants instead. Both of the plant hangers are from a thrift store, and actually the cute macrame bag is as well.
I was really happy when I found them.
Above the coat rack, I hung up a map of Oregon and an old vintage Utah license plate. I know, kinda random, but I liked the colors in the map and I liked how the numbers on the license plate looked next to the numbers on the coat rack.
The wicker trunk is a favorite of mine too. I picked it up at the Fancy Farmgirls‘ barn sale a few years ago. It’s nice to have in the entryway because it holds all of our hats and gloves, which I am happy to have stored away until next winter. Yay for Spring!
Right now onInstagram, some friends and I are hosting a Home You Have Challenge and this week’s theme is Entryways. If you want to play along, style your entryway using only items you already own and share a picture of it now until Friday using the hashtag #Home You Have.
Thank you so much for stopping by,
Emily

Thanks Cassie! I love our weekly challenges, they really help me to fix up my spaces 🙂
nothing better than putting away the coats and bringing out the plants love it xx
I really like this! I don't have a true entry way either, just a small wall like you. I like the plants hanging from the hooks too, very unique idea! :o)

Those are really cool planters. I have just as much space of an entry way so I think I may go looking for a cute coat rack now.
I love the plants, too. Actually, I love everything about this.
I was wondering what the paint color is on the walls?
Nevermind… found your wonderful post on your paint colors.
