I share pictures of this tree in our backyard every Spring so here I am to share it again this year! I will never stop sharing pictures of this tree in the Springtime as long as I’m living here because it’s one of my most favorite-favorite things in life.

I also love to take close up pictures because the blooms are so pretty…..and usually covered in bees.

I don’t think my pictures do the tree justice. It’s actually a really large tree. I shot these pictures with a 50mm lenses on my camera and so I wasn’t able to fit the full tree in the shot and I was too lazy to switch lenses.

And because I know someone will ask, this tree is a called a Snow Crab Apple Tree. It will get really teeny tiny little apples on it in the summer. It’s a great tree and looks beautiful in the summer and fall months too, but it looks it’s absolute very best in the month of April.

When I shared this tree last year, I captured our backyard beach cabana in the background because that was the first Spring we had our Cabana (see those pictures HERE). This year I wanted to take pictures of the tree with our Green Garage in the Background, because this is the first Spring since I painted our Garage Green (See Painted Garage Post HERE).

We have a little fire pit here in our backyard and we enjoy having family fire nights around it. It’s also nice to burn up some of the sticks and yard clean ups.

We had to remove a tree in our front yard at the beginning of the year. It was a really tall 100+ year old tree. I was sad to see it come down but we had several arborist tell us it needed to come down. We ended up keeping several really large stumps from the tree that you’ll see in our backyard. They are really neat, some are even hollow on the inside and I plan to plant plants and flowers in them…. I hope to share more of them with you this summer.

Hope you enjoyed these pictures. You can search Spring on the blog to see some of the other looks I captured of the tree in previous years.
