Quick Look at our Easter Table

Yesterday was Easter Sunday and I put together this quick Easter Table Setting using items that I already had or borrowed from my Mother-in-Law. It turned out cute, and so I thought I’d just share a few pictures that I snapped of it.

We had family in town and so I added an extra Leaf to our table to make it longer. Being that the table was now longer than normal, I didn’t have a tablecloth to fit it, and so I decided to use this vintage fabric that I had on hand as a tablecloth. This vintage fabric was a bed cover that once belong to my husband’s grandma and I thought it would look bright and Cheerful for Easter.

I then searched through my mother-in-laws place settings and found some cute Easter ones. My mother-in-law has a drawer full of placemats for every holiday or occasion and so I asked her if she would let me borrow some and of course she said yes.

The takeaway from this blog post should be that 1. sheets make great tablecloths for longer tables. 2. think about borrowing place settings from friends and family to mix up your table for special occasions. And 3. Don’t forget to get flowers 🌸 Ha! After I put together my tablescape I really wished I had some pretty flowers for the center.
