I
painted this cute little hutch but unfortunately have NO room in my
little house for it. So I’ll be selling it in my yard sale June 26-27.
This is what it
looked like before.
My sweet mom in law picked it up from someone in
her neighborhood, and she knew I’d have fun fixing it up.
I sanded it down, spray primed it, and after a good 3 coats of white paint……..(these kind of projects ALWAYS take more time and paint then you expect)
It turned out Lovely!
It has a cute little drawer.
I kept the original knobs, but spray painted the inner screws, as well as the hinges silver.
The bottom half of the hutch is a lift top desk. I left the inside of it, the pretty wood.
The top shelf has an indent to hold plates. So it’s perfect for a kitchen or dinning room.
But I was thinking it would also be great in a bedroom, a bathroom, a little girls room or nursery, or even used as a laptop desk.
If you’re in the Boise area and would like to buy it, be sure to stop by my yard sale!

My mom just sent this pin to me, and I was SO excited because I have this same exact hutch/desk!!! I bought it off of someone on facebook for $20 and this is exactly what I want to do with it! This will probably give me the motivation now because it looks awesome!
