New Curtains in our Living and Dining Room

I have recently updated our home with some new curtains that I am over the moon in love with. Read along to learn more about my new curtains and be sure to stick around to the end because I will be sharing a special discount code with you.

I had been wanting to order some new curtains for our home for the longest time but I just never got around to it, and so when Kgorge reached out to me and asked me if I wanted to work together on a collaboration, I knew that this would be the perfect opportunity to update our home with some stylish new curtains.

Originally Kgorge wanted to work together on an outdoor project because they have some really great outdoor curtain options, but unfortunately, I really don’t have a place in our yard to use outdoor curtains, but Kgorge was so kind to agree to work with me on updating the interior of our home with some new curtains.

So I first headed to their website and found plenty of wonderful curtain options to choose from. In fact, Choosing the new curtains was the hardest part. Here are a few other options that I was also considering.

These other options would have all been great choices, but in the end, I decided to go with THIS Flying Crane print pattern. I thought the flying crane pattern looked so pretty. I love that it has a sort of beach house / Tropical look to it. I also really love how the color palette is very neutral. Because I’m constantly mixing up my home decor, I figured it was best to choose something more neutral that would go with almost anything.

This flying crane print also comes in a linen sheer option, which is so beautiful, but I had sheer curtains previously and I was really wanting something with more weight to it, and so that’s why I went with the blackout option.

These are room darkening curtains, but they are surprisingly lighter weight than your regular blackout curtains. They use a special blackout fabric that is a new type of fabric and is better in the blackout function and more suitable for home decoration.

I was also very surprised at how soft these curtains are. They are made of 100% Polyester and have a really soft, smooth feel to them.

This flying Crane Print also some in Black, but since my previous curtains were black and white, I decided to go with something different and so I picked the taupe.

Another thing I was happy about with these curtains is that I ordered them to be the perfect length so that they just kiss the floor. My curtains before were super long and “puddled” on the floor, which I think is a pretty look, but if you have or have ever had curtains that Puddle, then you know that they get pretty dirty sweeping the floor all day. These are W52 inches by L84inches.

These curtains are sold in a set of two. And so I ordered two sets so that I could have a total of four panels. Because as you can see I have the new curtains in both of the large windows of our home. I call this our living room and dining room, but in reality it’s really just one large open space.

These new curtains have inspired me to do a little redecorating in our living room. I’ve moved some things around and changed up some of the decor, but I’m going to wait to share that in my next post. Today I just wanted to focus more on these new curtains.
