Here’s an easy way to switch up the look of your couch.
Our Sectional Couch has a red slipcover that goes on it. And although I love the red, sometimes I want a lighter look. In the past I have covered our couch with white sheets, which gives it a relaxed beachy look, but it does tend to look messy.
Here, I removed the slipcovers and the back cushions, added two vintage Coleman sleeping bags and then filled the couch up with lots and lots of throw pillows.
If you’re wanting an easy change to your sofa, try covering it with quilts, or cute sleeping bags if you have any.
These two sleeping bags are Vintage Coleman Sleeping bags from the 70’s in a cool aztec print. These belong to my mother-in-law which I took from her since I loved them so much.
The great thing about sleeping bags is that they offer a bit more cushion and are soft to sit on. Again, any blanket, quilt, comforter, throw bed, or sleeping bag should work fine at covering a couch. Even just temporary, it’s fun to change the look of your spaces some times.
