Happy Holidays! Thank you for stopping by the Blog today. I always have so much fun putting together Christmas Home Tours and each year my home looks a little different than the year before. You can see all of my Past Christmas related post HERE. But first, let me show you this year’s Christmas Home Tour and then if you want to see more, come back up and click on the link or Search Christmas in the search bar or in the pull down menu.

We have Yet to see any snow here in Idaho, So I had AI add a little snow to my picture of our front porch and it’s making my White Christmas Dreams feel somewhat real, but here’s how my front porch actually looks…..
Christmas decorating on the Porch

Some of the pictures I’ll be sharing today I have already shared here on the blog. But I wanted to have this be a full House Tour, so there will be some repeats. Like these images of our front porch. I blogged more about it HERE which also has more pictures and info about our new door color.

Christmas Decorating in The Entryway
Welcome! Come inside from all that cold snow outside! Just Kidding!

I’ve also already blogged about our Christmas entryway, so you can see even more of it HERE. It’s not much of an entryway, but a little space next to the front door that I like to decorate.

Christmas Decorating in The Living Room & Our Traditional Christmas Tree
What I haven’t shared here on the blog yet is our living room and Christmas tree… Let’s have a look!

We had to move a couch into my son’s room in order to fit the Christmas tree in. It worked out and I think my son really likes having a couch in his room, and who knows, maybe he’ll even want to keep it in there after Christmas.

I keep bringing more furniture into our home so our rooms get smaller every year. 😂 I just picked up this console table from the neighbor’s curb. I like it and also like having another surface to decorate.

I say this every year but to my family and I the only three Christmas decorations that really matter to us are the Christmas Tree, the hand knitted stockings that my Mother-in-Law so lovingly makes, and our nutcrackers. I’ll share more about our Nutcrackers in just a bit.

I recently made the Barn Quilt that is hanging on our fireplace. I just used some old fence wood and some white paint to create it. I was debating back and forth if I wanted to add more color to it because I originally was going to paint it white and blue, or else white and red, but in the end I went with white and wood and I’m happy with it.

Our Christmas tree ornaments are mostly the same ones we use every year. I like to add a couple of my two boy’s handmade ornaments from when they were little to the tree.

I did incorporate a little blue into my tree this year that I’ve never done before. I made some little fabric frames as well as some blue fabric bows. It makes me want to add even more blue next year.

When I picked up the free curbside console table from my neighbor, I also grabbed a quilt rack. I put the quilt rack next the tree with some quilts on it. I was really loving quilts this season, and even sewed the two patchwork quilt pillows that you’ll see in a lot of my pictures because I keep moving them around my home. I love them that much!!

My blog was down for a little while there, so I missed out on showing you a lot of the crafts I did, Like the Quilted pillows, the fabric garland hanging on the mantel, the fabric frames, and the blue painted shutters. I’m happy to have my blog back up and running now. It was just a matter of updating to more storage space. But if you are on INSTAGRAM I did share ALL of these projects there so you can catch up there if you want.

The rug was given to me by mother-in-law. She was going to donate it and asked it I wanted it. At first I said No because I didn’t think it was my style. But after giving it some thought, I realized that having a rug in here would be super cozy…. and it is! The rug is in perfect condition and feels so nice under the feet, plus the color goes so well with the rest of the room.

Now just two more pictures of my tree because I took these on a different day when there was better lighting and I like how the tree looks so glowy.

I talk about our nutcracker collection every year because it’s a huge part of our family Christmas tradition. Here they are all out on display. Guess how many we have and then head to THIS POST to see if you were right.
A Christmas Nutcracker Display

Christmas Decorating in The Dining Room
This is the first year with this old shelf here in our dining room so it was fun to decorate for Christmas. I thought it would be fun to hang Christmas Cards around it. I also had fun decorating the chandelier all up.

The brown Chandelier Light shades were a recent thrift store find. I was wanting to try out some shades on this Chandelier and was so happy when I found these ones. I thought about covering the shades in fabric but I actually really love the faux leather look of them. They give me Ralph Lauren – Equestrian vibes.

I adore this old coat tree. It used to be in my husband’s old work office and I got to bring it home when he closed the office. I like having lots of places in our home to hang things up on.

I added long strands of green garland to the chandelier and to the old shelf. I then adorned the garland with little clusters of apples.

And then I thought the garland would be a fun place to add our Christmas cards to by using clothespins. We’ve only received a few Christmas Cards this year so I went to my stash of saved Christmas Cards from the past and grabbed a handful and hung them up.

I think this room looks really cozy and ready for some Family time around the table.
Christmas Decorating in The Kitchen

Our Christmas Kitchen is another room that I shared more about in a previous blog post. I also talked more about the backspace that I recently hand painted. See that post HERE.

As far as decorating our kitchen for Christmas, I really kept it simple. I hung a real pine branch and a small red berry wreath at my stove area and then brought in a flocked mini tree and placed it next to my sink. There is also a garland hanging up above the walkway from the dining room into the kitchen.

Having lots of shelves and hooks in our home gives me plenty of places to decorate and be creative with.

Christmas Decorating in The Bedroom
And now the last room I’ll be sharing today in this tour is my Christmas Bedroom.

Like I mentioned before, these patchwork quilt pillows get moved around a lot. I think I like them on the bed the best. And then some cozy flannel snowflake sheets, and a mini flocked tree is all I added to decorate this room for Christmas.

Although, After taking these pictures, I wish that I had also added Christmas lights to the room.

Blogging about my bedroom, just makes me want to go crawl back into my bed. It’s cold and gloomy here today and nothing sounds better.

Christmas Decorating in the Bathroom
Just when I thought I was done decorating our home for Christmas, I decided to add a few touches to our main Bathroom.

And the funny thing is, is that this just may be one of my favorite rooms I’ve decorated. I don’t think I have ever decorated our Bathroom for Christmas before. I just blogged more about it HERE.
