I shared these pictures on Instagram awhile back but totally forgot to share them here on the blog. Sorry about that. I know not everyone is on Instagram and honestly, this really is my favorite place to share. Here on my cozy little blog in my cozy little house, away from all the noise. 💙
These pictures that I’m sharing with you today are of the Coziest Corner in our home. This is a little area in our living room that I love the most.
I love this little corner so much that I even wrote up a blog post All about this corner and I shared 40 pictures of all of the different ways I have decorated it. It’s a really fun read. See it [HERE]. This corner has taken on a lot of different looks over the years, but I have to say, I think this might just be the Coziest look of them all.
I think what makes this corner so cozy is; #1 the many layers of blankets, quilts, throws, and pillows on my couch, and #2 the bookshelf filled with books invites you to want to curl and read. Find my favorite Decorating, Garden, and Recipe Books [HERE]
I had taken these pictures of our living room right after I sewed some new pillows for our couch. I just found some fabric scraps in my fabric bag and whipped them up. I always sew pillows using the envelope method, but this time, I kinda forgot how to sew them and so they turned out full of imperfections. I should have referred back to my own Instructions found [HERE].
I sewed the pillows around the same time as I hung these curtains on my bookshelves. More on the bookshelf Curtains [HERE]. I really like the soft color palette here with the creams, whites, and blues.
