I made the cutest pumpkin out of two bundt pans and I’m excited to share it with you and tell you a little story about how this pumpkin came to be. In this post, I’ll share how easy it is to make this bundt pan pumpkin, other creative ways I have used a bundt pan, plus a few bundt pan options for sale.

Items needed to make a bundt pan pumpkin
- 2 bundt pans that match up when placed on top of each other. You can mix up the colors or use two of the same. (This is the dark blue one I have. The light blue is thrifted.)
- 6-12 inch piece of driftwood or stick. (or an actual pumpkin stem if you have one)
- Duck tape to secure stem
- Green leaves (real or faux)
- Hot Glue Gun and Glue sticks (optional) to secure pans together
Step 1.
Place driftwood or stick into the center hole of the bundt pan you want to go on top. Use duck tape at the bottom of the stick to hold into place.
You just want the duct tape to secure the stick into place so it doesn’t tip over. Mine looked like this:
Step 2.
Then you literally just set one bundt pan on top of the other to create the pumpkin shape. If this is going to be displayed and untouched then it should be okay just like this, but if it’s somewhere where it may be moved around a lot, you could also use hot glue to attach the bundt pans together. After the holiday, the hot glue should be easy to remove with no harm done.
Step 3.
Lastly, I cut some green leaves from my own pumpkin patch and just placed them onto the bundt pan pumpkin. These of corse are just temporary since they will eventually wilt, so faux leaves would probably work best.
Choose 1 color or 2, or how about spray painting them?
I had both of these bundt pans already, so it was fun to mix up the colors, but I think this pumpkin would also look cute in just one color. You could also spray paint the bundt pans too if you wanted to. I think it would look darling spray painted in a bright orange or white.
I think that this bundt pan pumpkin turned out so adorable. It was super easy to create, and it makes a really cute centerpiece on a table, especially when placed on top of a cake stand.

Story Time.
Okay so now I wanted to share the little story about how this bundt pan pumpkin came to be. I was going to post a picture on Instagram of our dining room where there was a bundt pan sitting on the table. It was a cute picture, but when I went to post it, I came to a blank trying to add a caption as to why I was even sharing it in the first place. So after a bit of thought, I decided to create a carousel of all of the other times I have shared Bundt pans around our home. After searching the blog for bundt pans I came up with several other projects……now that (I thought to myself) was worthy of sharing on instagram, instead of just one picture. I guess. Anyway….. But then I remembered that my mom gave me THIS bundt pan for Christmas last year and that it was a really cute dark blue color. So I dug it out of my cupboards, and brought it over to the table where I had the light blue one sitting. I randomly placed them on top of each other and realized that it resembled a pumpkin. All it needed was a stem. so I went to my garage looking for some pumpkin stems that I thought I had kept from past years, but couldn’t find them. looking around some more I saw my box of driftwood and decided that it would be perfect. And That is how this Bundt Pan Pumpkin Came to Be! I love when I get inspired by myself lol! 😉
