I wanted to add some Christmas Cheer to our bedroom and so I decided to hang this tinsel that I had in my box of decorations. I had already hung the string lights months ago, and so it was really simple just to add the tinsel onto the string lights. I think that the lights with with tinsel looks so fun and festive.
Next I made our bed in some flannel Snowflake sheets. I use these sheets every year at Christmas time.
And lastly, I brought in a little Christmas tree to my bedside table.
The tinsel is my favorite part of our Christmas bedroom, it really adds a lot of sparkle. I might be tempted to leave the tinsel up way past Christmas, Well for sure it will be up for New Years.
I actually stole this little tree from our front porch that I just blogged about HERE. The tree looked cute on our porch with all of the other mini trees, but I don’t think this one is made to go outdoors and I was worried that the flocking would get ruined with all of the rain and snow we have been receiving lately, so it’ll be better off up in our bedroom instead.
Every time I take pictures of our bedroom, I am reminded of how awesome it is. If you didn’t already know, at the beginning of this year, Jake and I added the wood to our ceiling. The wood came from the old fence in our backyard. This is one of our favorite projects to date.
It’s so fun to lay in bed and look up at it. Always makes me feel like I’m in a barn.

Do you have a room that you could add tinsel to? If so, I’d suggest hanging some up, it’ll instantly add a bit of that Christmas Spirit feeling.
